Summer Camp Teachers
We are looking for CELTA or TESOL qualified teachers to be part of our energetic teaching teams. You will plan, prepare and deliver the GIE lessons through engaging and inspiring lessons that will develop the students English whilst teaching them more about the UK and the places they will visit whilst staying in our camps. Our classes are all about making students feel more confident in their English usage and learning about the things they do and see whilst having a life changing summer camp experience.
We very much believe in retaining staff year on year and offer a bonus to anyone who returns to work for GIE the following year or years.

NB: Some contracts will start a few days prior to students arriving.
Minimum qualifications required
You need to have, at least, the CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or an equivalent* and a university degree. We also take on teachers with QTS (i.e. a PGCE - in English - and at least one year experience).
* The qualification must be externally validated by a reputable examination body and/or accredited by a national accrediting body; Candidates must have at least six hours supervised teaching practice; and at least 100 hours of ELT or TESOL input.

Directors of Study
We are looking for DELTA or Trinity Diploma qualified educators who can lead and inspire a teaching team. The DoS is responsible for ensuring that the standard of teaching meets high expectations, and they need to be able to support, develop and motivate teachers. You will ensure all academic administration is organised and completed on team and be able to monitor all aspects of the teaching and learning in a summer camp.

Minimum qualifications required
You need to be diploma qualified (Delta, Trinity Diploma or equivalent) with a university degree and have 3 years EFL teaching experience to apply for the position of Director of Studies.
